seam problem. black lines on texture

hey everyone

im running into a problem where when i export my texture map i get these thin black lines where my seams would be. in zbrush, there are no black seams, its only when i reimport it back into 3ds max

attached is a sample render of the seams.

anyone know how to easily fix this? is there a way to overpaint texture seams?

One option would be to adjust the Tool>UV Map>UV Map Border setting larger. The default value is 2, which creates that many pixels of overpaint.

Another possibility is that Max isn’t registering the 0,0 point quite the same as ZBrush. This can be adjusted in ZBrush using the Tool>UV Map, AdjU and AdjV sliders. Try values of plus or minus .05 to see if that makes a difference. (Followed by ApplyAdj)
