Sculpting material needed

Hello

I am writing to ask for advice . I am looking for material perfect for sculpting that allows me to see my model in any side in the same time. Usually, even good materials display some shadows which prevents you from clearly seeing all the edges around the model.
My goal is to have material that allows me to see any details with the same value of light - where there is no part cover in shadow. The best is any mat material.

Thanks

Adam

Hello @degaux

You can disable shadows in Render> Render Properties. This will take shadows out of the equation.

You cannot perceive 3d details without some degree of shading, however. If the value of light is the same everywhere, detail cannot be defined. You can see this if you switch to “Flat” render mode in the Render palette. This is the same effect as using the “Flat Color” material.

The Flat Sketch, Framer 1, and Framer 4 materials do a good job of defining detail without a clearly defined directional light source. If shadows are disabled, one of these might suit you.

Thanks a lot! I will check how to manipulate with the shading following your advice then.
