Sculpting and Rendering Question

Guys, Nguto here. I’m new in zbrush…
I just want to ask if how can I get this kind of surface? Like the hard edges and variation of size for every planes.
I tried using Flatten but

I’m trying to make it look like a Mineral/Gem Horn. (I painted this one btw.)

This is the 3d model

And it turned out like this, I kinda don’t like it, edges are looks too soft although the edges are hard due to low poly count.

This is what I really want.

Help me please… I really need this for my project:cry:
Thank you guys…

Basically, there are two approaches here–a high poly workflow or a low poly one.

A high poly workflow will involve a sculptor-ly approach using brushes like “Flatten” , “trim dynamic”, and “pinch” to make edges crisper, as well as theclip brushes (basically a flatten function). The Tool> Geometry > Clay Polish function can also tighten up edges on a sculpted high poly model.

A low poly workflow will probably involve Zmodeler, or possibly retopologizing a high poly model into a low poly one. The lower poly an object is, the easier it is to keeps surfaces flat and edges crisp. Make use of the Zmodeler Edge> Crease function to designate crisp edges that wont soften when subdivided.

and depending in what you want to render…in other rendering software you can turn off “smooth normals” and sometimes it makes marvelous things with low poly object that suppose to have hard edges.
