Sculpt playback

Hi All,
Been along time since I’ve been here…so long I lost my login , and as long since I used Zbrush.

If memory serves me correctly, I thought that you could record a sculpting session as a file that you could then playback and see mouse movement, menu selections etc. You could interrupt playback at any point and work with the file.

Have I just imagined this?

I looked at FHistory/Bhistory but it didn’t seem to be quite what I recall but maybe that’s my memory.

Is there a way to record and playback mouse moves(visible), sculpting, menu selections etc?

thanks,
El-d

Hello Tim!

For recording videos of your sculpting session, you can use the Movies menu, which contains options for specifying which things you’d like to record.

To record your actions on a more technical level, you would use the ZScript functionality.

Excellent. Was the Zscript I was thinking of.
Thanks.
