Hi there,
is there a way to sculpt (add details, etc.) in the direction of view instead of direction of the normals? This would be very handy when it comes to doing sculpts for production and to keep a better eye on demoulding-angles .

Hi @elvis Welcome to ZBrush Central.
Not sure if this is what you are after, but it’s the closest thing I can think of. In the “Transform > Modifiers” subpalette, there are buttons Xyz , X , Y , Z. Hold your cursor over each button and hold down Ctrl for an explanation of what it does.

Since you mentioned demoulding angles just adding that there is draft analysis functionality in Zbrush that also updates while you sculpt. For details see here from Michael Pavlovich.
Yes, i checked it out already. That is a great feature.
