My ZBC Contest entry will be a picture of what happens when bedmonsters dont have a look at the child they are trying to scare before they hide under their beds. In this case he makes a big mistake when he hides under Chris bed. Chris is a pro skateboarder… but only on his ps2 and all his friends call him “chubby chris”.

I am sketching up some first ideas and ill post the sketches soon.
I will be using zbrush and his native render, probably cinema 4d for enviormental objects and photoshop for composition and tweaking.

i hope illl find enough time as my student semester has just begun.

heres a first basemesh for chubby chris. Im not quite sure yet but i think ill rather go for a cartoon look than a realistic style

some little updates on chubby chris. the hands need a lot of work to go but i like the way its going. i think he needs to eat a little bit more untill next post what do u guys think?

guys what am i doing wrong with the pictures? how can i get them displayed big in the post and not as thumbnails? when i press the button “learn more” the link is corrupted

When you upload the pic, there should be a link to insert the image in the post. Click that, and it will insert the necessary code at the current cursor location.

Or you can edit your post. Beneath the text you’ll see a list of the images that you have uploaded. Each one has a link that begins with [ATT followed by other image info. Click that link to insert the image where the cursor is currently located.

That works with most browsers. If your browser has trouble with this, you can instead copy the link text and then paste it into your post. So you’d copy everything from [ATT through /ATT].

I think after uploading the image on the image hosting site u should copy paste the direct image link tagged start and end with [IMG]

I think this will solve ur problem but pls inform me that how did u attach the thumbnail I am unable to do it hehehehehehehehehe:lol: :lol:
Pls help me out here.

Disco Stu,

Brilliant concept. Perhaps Chubby Chris has an unfortunate hyperactive gland problem, and sports one of those nifty, mangy partial mustaches. Plus, if he skates, he’s hopefully into body piercing an tattoos. :cool:

Hi guys thanks for your posts i was quite busy this week but i finally got some time to work at the bedmonsters nightmare.

I was thinking that the bedmonster may come from an ancient maya graveyard on which chris´s parents had builded their house on even though there where lots of storys being told in town about that spooky place on top of the hill.
Chris´s parents were short on money and did not listen to any of the gossip.
They wanted an house for their family and they did not want to take a huge mortgage because they thought there would be an loan crisis anyway.
