Two brushes i made for this project one move topolastic it is a mix of move topological brush with elastic strength, works great for moving parts without selection …like laces, if you make your elastic strength higher and a bigger radius brush you can move entire part without masking. Also my braid brush

Paintarly lighting and mood of the original was hard to translate i guess its a nature of 3d and realism that is inherent to the medium, So i went in to building on the character itself. Many thanks Marcus glad you like it.
