Saving undo history - issue with two settings

Hello! The undo history is an awesome feature. I have what I feel is a logical and simple request however:

Under preferences you find the options to fiddle with many things, Undo history is one of them. There is the “Enable saving” option which, when on, leads you to think that you are saving your undo history with your file. That isn’t what does it however, you ALSO need to turn on Undo history under file - it took me a long time to find that out, and it seems silly to have two settings to turn on, in two separate places, to enable the same thing. I think that The UndoHistory option under file should be moved to preferences and/or combined with the other button. Many times I thought I was saving my history only to learn I wasn’t upon reloading the file, which in some cases can be quite a loss.

Please have a look at changing that!

Additionally, custom views from Zapplink aren’t stored in the file - so any work you do setting them up is lost on closing Zbrush. That would be a nice one to include by default.

Hey,…i’ve the newst version of zbrush. But saving of the undohistory don’t works.
ZBrush want save then just a small file of a document. But when I load this file, because I think it is my work, it shows/open me just a kind of a screenshot as file inside zbrush.
I can’t then work on this file (can’t click on edit Button to work further on this file) and also no undohistory is loaded with it/with this file.

I’ve activated in the preferences the saving undo history.
And also I saved the Work with the Document > Save As > But then he asked me, what I want save, “the Docoment” or the "Tool.

This confusing me. I’ve clicked the Document, to save my work and hoppely also the undo history with it.
But again: Then zbrush save only a small kind of a zbr. file. Something like a screenshot file. It seems.

What the heck i am doing wrong?
I want saving my work with undohistorys.
And loading it with undohistory.

Or is this a bug in this newst version of Zbrush, so that saving of Undohistory don’t works anymore correctly?

I’ve I confused the menu: Document all the time with the menu: file. :rofl:
Really sorry. My Fault.

EDIT 2:
But please, it is not possible for a further ZBrush Version to also save the History-Brush-History? This would be awesome. This seems not to work.
