I am confused when I right click on “save as” which folder or file do I assign script to? tools or doc or what. Also after I downloaded the manual from the Pixologic site the manual was sent to Photoshop and it opened one page an a time in such a small frame I couldn’t read it. Isn’t there a standard way other than having it unzip in Photoshop? Is WINZIP the problem?
Version 1.23 has a ZScripts folder, in addition to the previous ZTools, ZMaterials, ZDocs, etc. That’s where you want to save your script to.
Regarding the manual, it’s a PDF file, which is Adobe Acrobat. You’re getting the problem because you’re trying to open it in Photoshop. If you don’t already have Acrobat Reader, you can download it HERE for free. If you DO have Reader already, then somehow you have changed the file association and that is why it’s trying to open in Photoshop instead. You need to change it back, but the way to do that depends on your particular operating system. They are all a little bit different.
Hope this helps. The manual is just awesome, so much so that I printed all 300+ pages of it in color. LOL
Aurick,
Thanks I will try to change the settings so it will go to Acrobat Reader. Looking forward to printing the manual and getting scripts to work. Appreaciate the time you spent answering my call for help!
Everything working for you OK Stevie?

ZuZu,
YES! I just dragged the 1.23 man. onto the Acrobat icon on my desktop and it opened fine. I finally printed the whole thing 300 pages. Now I have no excuses and easy reference. This program has so much potential if people like me would dig in and LEARN instead of playing around. I have to say this is one fun site, I have had a ball watching and learning. The masters really are leading the way by showing the rest of us whats possible. VIVA LA Z.
