I just downloaded those sample meshes from download centre. They are great! Are they made in ZB from scratch? Are they set up with ZSpheres? If yes, would it be possible to see the ZSphere set up? I would love to learn how to get such nice clean topoghraphy with ZSpheres.

Well any box modeling tut would work in Zbrush if you took a sphere down to it’s simplest - a cube. Or you can introduce yourself to zspheres, follow the link in my signature, we even provide samples for you to do what you want with…
Otherwise, currently you will need another app or a base mesh to start with or a base mesh to modify in another app to start with or…
If you follow my zsphere thread, that’s what I use, but I’m alot weirder than others (You could download the samples provided on the thread, convert to polymesh and take into Maya, Wings, etc. and modify to suit). Prior to zspheres I would only use NURBS, so I’m the wrong guy to ask. Never box modeled a thing, ever. Way to weird for me. If your really hard up and need something to start with try darwindimensions.com, it’s not free, but a lo-res for Zbrush is only about $50 and you get to make it yourself. Then in Zbrush you are king!

well if you’re able to produce such nice topography meshes, whatever way you model them, it doesnt seem weird to me. darwindimesnions is cool, but im looking to get the knowledge of modelling clean meshes and getting the edges to flow in the right way. Im not sure if ZBrush can edit edges like Maya does for example. I like modelling in ZB but sometimes it seems that zspheres give me way too many polygons in parts of the mesh where they are not needed in such numbers.
You can adjust that zsphere info with the wonderful xyzscript on the forum. Still, if you are thinking game, you may have to go to an outside app.
