I dedicate this Sculpture to Goddess Durga .I visualised Goddess Durga hands in Gayan mudra.Gyan /Jnana means wisdom or knowledge and mudra means a seal or a gesture.Sahasrabhuja’ means ‘a thousand arms’. Mother Goddess Durga has got thousand hands when she was created by various Gods and Tridevs because she has to uphold the Righteousness and listen to the prayers of all the sentient beings who pray to her with utter devotion.Goddess Durga represents a united front of all Divine forces against the negative forces of evil and wickedness.
