Hi all! I just upgraded to Core 2020 (from 2018.1). Actually it was like new installation + licence activation. I now have both 2018 and 2020 on my computer. Is it safe to just uninstall the old version?
Licence manager shows that I have 1/2 licence active on my ‘original licence’ (unistalled after version upgrade a while ago) and 2/2 licences active on 2018-2020, all on one named PC . Is this normal? Do I have to deactivate a licence?
The two versions (and their licensing) are completely unaware of each other. You can just uninstall the original version. You don’t even need to deactivate it. Only the new serial number will matter going forward.
