well offcourse it will work on it as it is just virtualisation… the question is how fast will it be 
Fusion bet should have limited video acceleration so it is even possible to play some games on it, am curious 
I think it will run even better with a stripped down XP i have made one form only 128 mb and took only 28 mb ram once for my grandpa old pc… think you would not even notice the difference of running 2 os
