You have to click it to access the Youtube version.
To be honest, it seems like just as much work as box-modeling, and like less of an advantageous starting point for sculpting in Zbrush, but I’m sure this method will appeal to someone.
i did click it, i’m not a complete idiot, and when i did it showed the dog frozen, when i pressed play it said “sorry this video is no longer available”
Perhaps it’s double-clicking, but doing one of the two got me through to the youtube page. Doesn’t matter much regardless as it seems the link in the original post has been changed to the Youtube page.
Yeah, I think some people will like it and some won’t. I tried it myself and once you get a rhythm going with the masking and hiding, it’s quite fun.
I find that sometimes sculpting with a continuous is more tedious because you are restricted to edge flow. This is good if you have a mesh and just want to play around with the possibilities without worrying about edgeflow or a high poly count. You can get clean edges because of the nature of mesh.
If there was a quicker way to mask off everything except for what you want to work on (ie like a single click action) then this might be more acceptable to more people.
