rotating zspheres model

Hi

I’ve been building up a figure using Zspheres then applying a skin to it. If I rotate the figure to try and re-position it on the ground plane, it becomes badly distorted. I’ve followed various tutorials on rotating subtools but don’t know why this is happening. When I view the Zspheres model it looks fine but when I apply a skin it’s been warped.

Any insight would be appreciated.

by warped do you mean it is stair stepping?

I am getting similar behavior as well as it no longer lets me rotate my model quite annoying,

In Preview mode (A on the keyboard) you might try

  1. Tool>Morph Target>Switch
  2. Tool>Morph Target>Del MT
  3. Tool>Morph Target>Store MT

Ok, no idea why, but now it’s working fine. I don’t know what’s changed so can’t offer any help to the others.

Thanks Marcus I was about to give up on using zspheres, I will keep testing and trying it will keep this thread posted.

Tried the morph target bit but it did not help, I am doing a retopo, I unified my model before I began and as I am working it stops from rotating and starts selecting edges at random and making a mess of them. here is a screenshot.
