I really hope this starts a trend in the News industry… the way it is now everything we see or hear is controlled by too few people IMHO.

Have a News source that is completely free from the Syndicated press.
I have a feeling that the Government will put a stop to this soon… right now the FBI is kicking in peoples doors and taking their equipment for using P2P networks. I think it is only a matter of time until it is completely illegal to upload or download anything over a P2P network. Hope they allow Bittorrent to distribute Linux. I dont like the idea of only people who can afford bandwidth makeing Linux Distros… it is fun to see alll the flavours and variety of linux…
Hope this small TV network Idea catches on and some people start actually reporting what is happening around the world. I want to hear about the Good news and the Bad news… I really dont want to hear about the overthrow and Colonizing of Iraq.
Listening to terrorist threats and demands in a way is supporting terrorism!!! They would not be doing it if they knew that their voice would not be heard…
Right now the best thing for the terrorists to do for publicity is release an execution videotape to an American journalist… there are all ready “Copy cat” killings happening right now because of all the air time they get.
If they want to say something that all Americans hear , all they have to do is kidnap an American, and videotape a violent death and their threats and terror get put into every American persons livening room thanks to the news industry… (Not mine anymore, I get my news from google Science section, and slashdot )

Perhaps I should start planning, perhaps I could be a leader in this movement… perhaps I could start legal proceedings before big business gets in there and tries to snuff this idea.
I buy and watch DVDs ONLY, I am tired of trying to eat my dinner, and some jerk telling me how he solved his Diaharea problem by taking some drug. Some lady telling her daughter how she feels “fresh” by buying another product… some Drug company telling me the bad reactions of the drug are Vomiting, Diaharea, and Oily Discharge!
They always seem to advertise the Gross stuff right at dinner time… I am trying to eat potato chips and some rubberneck is telling me about the fungus that lives under his toe nails. An other commercial about bad breath and underarm oder!!! OMG do they have no manners!! Don’t they realize that they are doing this in peoples houses?
When I am adding sour cream to my potato the last thing I want to hear about is some miracle cure for a yeast infection!

I think it would really be a cool thing for independent animators and film makers. they can show their stuff, and if the End user likes it they can donate a few bucks to the cause Via pay pal.
This would eliminate the middleman, and would promote artists to make more cool stuff…
Hmmmm… perhaps I should get off this soapbox and put on some coveralls, and work boots!!! We need a change in entertainment!!!
True freedom of choice in news! Pay pal pays the independent reporters for footage and story! (Journalists would be held liable for any damage they cause for mis-informing people… I feel this might keep them honest.)
The Best MTV ever!!! you don’t have to sit through a bunch of commercials and lame videos to hear the music you want to hear… Pay pal goes straight to the artist. No more force feeding what music the record industry wants us to buy that year.
The greatest thing about this is that it casts your dollar vote ageist Big business!!! you don’t get force fed entertainment anymore… it is true freedom!
