Robo Stage 2 (W3D & C4D)

Hey all. Its been a long time since I touched this Robo fella. Going to try and start figuring out what to do for the hands and bottom torso. Been stuck on it a while. I guess that’s what I get for not doing a few thumbs first. There have been some new changes to things. The most obvious is the chest area. Going to make a more detailed center object but for now, the sphere is just a place holder so to speak. Made a ‘rib cage’ like look. Just fooling with that. Added some spin plates to the shoulders and forearm area for extra mobility (and repair arm attached to the shoulder spin plates). Changed the screw heads to something less lame and more stylish ( I think). Antenna change too. 12,614 faces so far. Not good but not so bad either.

A C4D rendering of him at stage2.

Thanks for looking. Comments and crits always welcome, good or bad.

Powerful Spiderbot of the eight eyes, this is well build.
You may consider these as useful:
To change chest light to search-light (contrast eyes, if cold blue or white hot).
On end of arms could be grasping machine claws, scissor-like blades? Snip-snip;)
For legs befits long and tall, with more joints, as spiderish has many knees.

Hi MtB
Is this robot a dancer ? (on tiptoe)
Does the reflect “the sunset on the Venisia’s laguna” ? :sunglasses:
What is the function of the cylinder bottom?
Very cool update :+1:

Thanks guys.
The forearms are that which you speak of Frenchy, not feet. I am in the middle of redoing them right now. the center cylinder is where the bottom half is to attach, whether legs or hover unit.

So what a suspense for the following
