rigging / posing my character ??

Dear Zbrush folks,

I’ve recently made a character and I’m quite happy with the results. The character itself however isn’t posed and is quite heavy ( 7mil) I’d like to pose the character though and have been adviced to use the transpose tool. Whenever I look up a tutorial though people say that it will produce a lower subdivided mesh but that is asuming I have used subdivisions…

I however have used dynamesh and cannot do this. I’ve looked into alternatives and this could be using zspheres but due to the heavyness of the character this takes a crazy amount of time to move anything.

Is there anyway i could make a lower subdivided mesh, use transpose and then switch to the heavier version ?? I kinda feel at a loss not knowing how i can make this work.

– edit – Zbrush seems to crash a lot as well when I try to use decimation master or remesh certain parts.

Make a duplicate subtool of your dybameshed figure

Use ZRemesher on the duplicate

Increase subdivisions on the zremeshed copy and project the details from your original at each subd level.

Now you will be able to use the lowest subdivision for posing.
