Revolver Ocelot... first sculpt.

Hi, this is my very first zbrush sculpt. Because I was trained in Maya I couldn’t figure out how to output render in Zbrush. So how do I render to an image output in Zbrush anyway? Are there render engines like in Maya and Max? Vray, Mental ray?

Here goes…

I’m not quite happy with the result, (because I was trained in Maya), I sculpted this model symetrically and then posed it, while I’ve seen my lecturer readied his lopoly model already posed. I failed to make it as sleek as in my sketches.

To export an image from ZBrush, use Document>Export.

For higher quality, use Render>Best before doing this.

For highest quality, create your document at twice the size that you’re going to export. Then use Render>Best and press the AAHalf button before exporting.

Thats pretty good. I’m new to zbrush and hope that I can make something like you did :stuck_out_tongue:
Is it just me or the head seems kinda off, seems slightly big though I could be wrong.

I can’t find AAHalf, I have a Zbrush tutorial book, but it’s only sculpting tutorial. Should have bought the basic tutorial first, LOL.

You’re right, forehead’s seems big…

Check this image below shows you where AAHalf is.

found it, thanks!

Hmm, i dont know about that. When i render in zbrush at best, it leaves this ugly white border line on the edge of my model aswell as some ugly white sploches all over the model.
