Revenge Of The Utah Teapots (Boring3d Style)

After years of being used and abused by 3d computer graphics artists the Utah Teapots decide it’s time for a “change”.

Just thought I’d try something in Boring3D style  (http://www.boring3d.com)

The Teapots were a free .dxf model that I downloaded from somewhere. Since the teapots had no bottoms I added a disc3d to the bottoms. The people are unified skinned Zspheres except for the noses and eyes. The clouds were made from flattened spheres multi-marked, polymeshed and then unified skinned together.

Very nice post WingedOne, is really freshly image. how you get the blur in background?
can you share with us?
Congratulations and thanks in advance

Nice work WO! Very similar to Boring3D’s style! :+1: :+1:

For the depth blur, you need to press the “depth cue” button in the render pallette. In addition, the intensity of the blur depends on the “blur size” value in the anti-aliasing menu of the render pallette as well as the “intensity” and “softness” values in the depth cue pallette.

For the near depth value (depth1) you can drag from that slider to a point on the canvas to choose that value and you do the same thing for the far depth value (depth2).

Hope this information was helpful.
