Retopology and Projecting Creating Fractals? HELP!

So I’ve sculpted this high res mesh starting with ZSpheres. I intend to pose it using that ZSphere rig. So, first I duplicate high res mesh then go into Zplugin>T Pose Mesh to combine everything into one. Then I take the first copy, go Geometry>ZRemesher and half it until the polygon count is somewhere around 17 or 18k polygons. Just to make sure everything is working I wanted to go ahead and project my high res back onto the low res without posing so that I know i’m doing it correctly.

I go back to Subtool>Project set the distance all the way to the right and expand the projection shell until it encompasses the high res mesh (looks like a marshmallow man) then hit Project All. The result is these weird fractals of geometry all over the place. What am I doing wrong? How do I get this to do what I want?

looks like old subtool is not hidden and showing ontop of your model. check your subtool pallet and hide or remove original subtool
