Restore UI window config size?

Hi.

On Mac 10.10, after 4r6 loads my zbrush app main window is wider than my monitor (the all encompassing window). I think this started as a result of me installing someone else ui configuration. I then hit my restore standard config, it does but leaves the window width unchanged. In other words about 3 - 4 inches of brush is off screen to the right.

How do I fix this please?

Thx

This might work. If not there is a file you’ll have to delete once identified. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?188338-ZBrush-window-opens-partially-off-the-screen-Unable-to-move-the-panel-and-resize-it

What file would that be? Tried link’s suggestion. Sounds like they’re on Windows, (window+arrow) Clicking “window” on mac doesn’t exist.

Help!!!

You can resize the ZBrush window like this:

  1. Turn off Document>Pro
  2. Set the Document>Height and Document>Width sliders to the height and width you want.
  3. Hold ALT and press Document>Resize

Holding ALT will make sure that it’s the ZBrush window that is resized rather than the document. You can then store the configuration (Shift+Ctrl+i).

You’re welcome. It was going to be a link to his posted solution somewhere else on the forums.

Ha! Great.

On Mac the files are under the users/shared/ZbrushData folder. I believe it’s the ZStartup folder contents. If you delete those and start up Zbrush and those files don’t exist it puts them back in with the default. This is also useful if you have a secondary monitor and re/move it. If Zbrush was using that monitor it still thinks it needs to show up on the now non-existing placement.
