Hi, I must have had x symmetry turned off for a brief spell when modelling and have lost a bit of symmetry. One side of my model is ok, the other is not. What would be the easiest way of copying over info from the good side?
Thanks,

Using a Mask Brush with a Rectangle stroke, mask half of the mesh (good half) then go to Tool > Deformation and click ‘Smart ReSym’. You can also try ‘Mirror and Weld’ in Tool > Geometry but the good side has to be on the left so if the good side is on the right in a front view then just switch to the back view.
Thanks for the response. I tried that and the resulting geometry is all messed up. I’m working at 6 detail, and it takes about 10 minutes to process the resym. Maybe that’s the problem, But the geometry is so messed up as to be unusable.
Is there a way to do it with Mirror/ weld? Even copying and pasting the good area onto the bad area would be better than losing the symmetry. Is that possible?
