Resize subtool issues

Novice here, but i am making anatomical models from work and they need to be specific dimensions for 3D printing. I have watched many videos and read many posts but none seem to work.
I have tried to use the scale master- set the scale- sliders to subtool size- then change sliders- then hit resize subtool.
Either it doesnt change anything at all or it changes 2 of the 3 axis and makes the other tiny so it looks more like a plane.
I have tried unifying- which made no difference.
Many thanks for your help

Hi @Victoria_Carswell

You didn’t mention it, but did you try 3D Print Hub plugin in the Plugins menu and setting your size there?

Thank you, yes I have. I’ve been back and forth from scale master to 3d hub. But still can’t resize, or specify dimensions.

I always use 3d hub before exporting to print during other models. ATM I’m doing a rounded edge tapered elongated cube- that fits inside another piece so the dimensions need to be right and it just won’t change to the sizes needed. ( I’ve also tried size in geometry- that partially helps at the beginning but not exactly)
