Reset specific setting value

Hello. How do I reset the value of a specific slider/value to the default?

For example, in the “initialize” menu for a polymesh3d, the X-Res, Y-Res, and Z-Res are all default ‘2’. Let’s say I played around with the sliders, but forgot the defaults. How do I set those specific values back to the default?

I googled quite a bit and only found info on resetting an entire project.

Thanks.

In the case of the vanilla primitives in the tool menu, they always exist in their default state. For instance, if you select the “Sphere3d” primitive and make a change to it in the “initialize” menu, your active tool now becomes a copy of that tool with the name “Sphere3d_1”. Simply find the original “Sphere3d” tool in the tool menu and select it for the default version with all the sliders reset.

That was just an example. I’m talking about resetting individual values in general.

Another example: In the draw menu I set up image references on the z/x planes, and I go in to switch the display mode between 1 and 3 (to make what I’m sculpting semi-transparent or not), but sometimes I will accidentally move another slider. After I do, I have no way to undo the change. Almost every program I’ve ever used has a way to set back to default. For example in Black Magic Fusion, there is a little dot below every setting that you can click to return to the default. In Zbrush I’m not seeing anyway to revert a setting value once you change it. It’s very annoying.
