Replacing UVs in Zbrush? Maya/Zbrush

I have sculpted a high-res detailed mesh but I’ve realised that my UVs are starting to stretch as I sculpt therefore I’m trying to ‘update’ the UVs of this mesh without affecting my sculpts? (My mesh has 6 Udims as well. )

I am struggling to figure out a way to do this. (I have tried to lower the res then re-UV and project the details back on but my sculpt is too heavy for this. )

note* that I’m switching back and forth with Maya UVing and zbrush for sculpting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You shouldn’t need to do any projecting.

If you export your Low res mesh and update UVs in another application. Just go to the lowest subD level and hit tool>import. If your point order hasn’t changed then Zbrush will simply update the UVs.

Thanks!

But I still have a problem. Is there any way I can do this on another subdv ?
For example, my current ztool has 7 subdv , I want to unfold my model at 3 subdv, because I’ve noticed my model’s UV was getting a lot of stretching in the UV if I unfold in at the lowest (1st subdv) .

But I have tried unfold on the 3rd subdv, the UV’s on the 4th-7th didn’t change.
