Remove Workspace Safe Zone Border

somebody told me this somewhere, and of course i can’t find the setting (nor the thread) again.

how do i remove the ‘safe zone’ border around the edge of the workspace? you know, that white line around the border, beyond which you can’t modify the mesh, because it wants you to use the edges for navigation (like rotating (around) the model)?

i don’t use that, i would like to be able to model to the edges of the workspace. thanks!

I don’t think there is any setting for that.

I wrote a macro a while ago:

This Macro link is dead, but I would really love to get a copy of it. Can you replace it? It would be much appreciated.

Hi @nanomammoth welcome on ZBC.

To hide the transformation border you can disable it in **preferences : edit : Draw Transformation border.

Hope it helps,
Nicolas

Bingo! Thank you so much! Thats been driving me bonkers. So many things in Zbrush are simple if you just know where to look, but they are always in the least obvious places and have names I would never connect to the topic.
