a few questions here.
I had to install a new mother board last week after my cooler burst. and I had to reinstall windows. now Im reintroducing my software.
how do I run zbrush install. do I go back to my original then instal all the upgrades? or do I just install the last upgrade?
also I didnt have a chance to uninstall/deactivate zbrush as the system died without me having the opportunity. so how will I be able to activate the software if I didnt unactivate it?

All you need is to install 4R4, run ZUpgrader (found within its folder) to patch it, then launch it and do Web Activation. You don’t need any earlier version.
As for the lost activation, if you get a message telling you that ZBrush has been activated too many times you will see a button to View Activation History. Click that, then the check box next to the lost activation. Submitting that form will automatically create a Support ticket with the info we need to remove that activation from your serial number. Turn around time is usually within one hour during normal business hours. You’ll get an email back letting you know it’s been processed, then you can activate like normal.
