Reduce Polygons in Geometry Created in ZBrushCore

Is there any way in ZBrushCore to reduce the number of polygons in a model? (Like the Reduce brush in Sculptris)

Many thanks.

There’s nothing like the Reduce Brush. You can only reduce the total number of polygons and the options are limited. DynaMesh will reduce the number of polygons if you set the Resolution slider appropriately. But DynaMesh will only work with a closed volume and may change your model more than you want. Or you can use the Optimize for 3D Printing button in the File menu. This will only work if your model has over 200,000 polygons and will triangulate your model but it may be suitable for what you want.

I’m new to zbrush(core) but to add to what was said previously, the optimize for 3D will always attempt to reduce the ammount of the subtool to 100 000 polys.

Also I’ve experienced numerous fails if the model is above 6-7 millions polys. Yesterday it kept failing today it worked on 11 millions… Hmmm… ^^’
