I saved my file recently after working on it a few hours. Afterwards I restarted Zbrush and tried to reload the file.
I got two error messages: 1. “MEMORY ERROR Unable to read virtual memory file.” 2.“INTERNAL ERROR .\List.cpp Line:932 Locked main mem in list-out Object: Please and so on”
So is there any chance to recover the file or is it corrupt? Any hope to wait for 4r7 and try to open it there?

Unless you’ve disabled autosave, there should be a recent version of your file in the Lightbox>Quicksave directory.
I’m not sure what happened in your instance, but in any graphics program, you should get into the habit of saving manually on a regular basis, in a series of staggered, iterative save files.
