Re-enable Shadow box will crop part of the object and mask

I am trying to learn how to use shadowbox. At first the default shadow box is way to small for what I wanted to do, so I scaled it up and made something like the left side of the image. Then I disabled shadow box and bumped up resolution, but the shadow box shrunk and cropped part my stuff.

Just wonder if anyone can point out what’s wrong and help me with it! Many thanks!

Hello Ophelia,

The size the shadowbox is generated at is fixed. If your source mesh is greater than a Tool> Geometry> Size> XYZ of approximately 2, some portion of it will be cropped. It would be better to generate your mesh first and scale that mesh as desired after it is created, rather than scale the shadowbox, or select a new starting mesh to create the higher res Shadowbox so the original subtool is not destroyed.

Take Care! :slightly_smiling_face:
