This was a fiberbrush and dragrectanble and 3d circle for a change. I did a little work in the modifications options. Male rat scurrying away from the full moon.
DeeVee,
Joe
Imaginative Joe…
If you use ‘Flat Color’ material for the moon, you won’t get shadows cast on it, which interferes with the illusion of a distant moon a bit…
That is some very nice fiber brush work…
There must be something up with rats here lately…This is a series of things that have happened for whatever reason involving rats and rat topics…
past to current…
1.fake rat pic on zbc
2. last thursday night at my kids school one of the teachers during my visit had a beautiful beige and white rat on her shoulder in the hallway…I stopped and she let me pet it…(had never touched one before) it was beautiful
3. Two movies were on last night with rats I watched…Deadly Eyes on showtime or something, and The Ratz on the fox channel I watched earlier that evening…(also another RAt movie is on one of the upper channels though I didnt watch it only made note of that one)
4. You wonderful little diddy tonight Joe…
thought I would share that…very strange stuff…
Joe, I like this…abstract but I can see the rat(s)and I like the subtle color choice on the foreground images. The moon made it pop out nicely…
Thanks for that tip SC I was not aware of that, I will try and remember it for future use.
Another thing handy about that material Joe, is that if you use it for a background painting, (I usually like to do my background layer first…), it also won’t react to light in any other way…What this means is you can paint your background, and then use coloured lighting in your scene, and it will ONLY affect what you want it to affect…
Thanks again SC, I usually start at the back and move forward, but the tip you just gave me I was unaware of. It certainly is nice to know that fact it can make such a big difference in the overall quality of an image.
Merci Beaucoup!
So different for you DeeVee–a real departure… and proof of your versatility in ZBrush–good work !
