Hello,
This project started as an Anatomy study, then I decided to take it further and make a character, then I decided to create a collectible concept. Below is the image I took as a reference (I assume that Matt Groening is the Artist behind that image) . It took some time to finish this project. It was fun, I learned some new things, like how to sculpt a cape and the water splash effect.
I sent my model to Blender and set the scene using Eevee for the final render.
The letters and explosion are 3D objects with an awesome Free Toon shader by Paul Caggegi (https://gumroad.com/l/JWdjJ). I followed the next post (shorturl.at/drsD9) to recreate The Vinyl plastic Shader.
I’m happy with the final result. I know there’s always room to improve, though.
