Radical sym working but not quite perfect

I’ve created a sub tool with 4 ‘corners’ and wanted to use rad sym to add details to all 4 ‘corners’. It’s working but it isn’t 100% creating the same results on each corner. I’m guessing the geo/wireframe is not 100% for each corner? I’ve tried mirroring it (though not every way, as there are so many methods for mirroring these days) but it’s still not 100%

What process would you suggest for this particular task?

I think you need to make sure it’s centered…
Ignoring the circular part in the middle, try centering the other two parts using Unify in the Deformation Palette.

I am guessing here but it looks like you made one of the objects and then rotated a copy of it, however also it looks like it moved down and to the side slightly.

Unify will place both objects centers in the exact same place and make them the same size, you may need to move the circular part after doing this as well but I don’t know that for sure.

^^^^ Yep.

For that object, you might want to mirror and weld on both x and z axis after you unify/center it.

YAH!

Worked perfectly , thanks guys!
