I think 6x6 picas is 1x1" inche, When you key in 6x6 picas into the image size in photoshop, it converts to 1x1".
Don’t know what is it for and you can set your ruler to picas to see the value and vise versa.

Be careful when you read the color convertions of CMYK v RGB on the link to the Digital Expert.
Some of the articles were removed and because there are significant reconigtions to the ICC profile.
It solves problems not the cause of the problem. If there is only one standard then we will be looking at the same picture, unfortunately all manufacturer seems to create their own standard.
