Question Zbrush to C4D (Octane) animation workflow

Hello Zbrush Central!

I’m a concept artist that has been using Z brush for around 4 years now. So far I’ve been using it for concept art mostly just rendering models in Keyshot. Recently I decided I want to tackle a small personal project that goes beyond doing still images.

My goal is to do a short animation rendered in Octane (C4D). My friend of will be handling the C4D part along with the animation. I just need to give him models optimized to be rendered in octane. Since I never used Zbrush outside of modeling and rendering in Keyshot I don’t know whats the general workflow to make this happen. Just to clarify there wont be any rigging. The models in Zbrush are high poly count. The shots will be mostly be still objects with the camera moving around them.

I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some guidance in terms of the general workflow that is needed and which new software (if any) I need to learn. Any help would be great!

Thank you very much!
