Does anyone know why “polypaint from texture” is greyed out/how to fix this? Thank you.
You probably need to turn on Rgb, or Mrgb.
Neither one of those options worked.
You model needs UV’s for that to work I believe.
It’s telling you you have two options for color: assign UVs in order to create a texture OR just use polypaint without a texture. In order to create a texure, however, you will need to assign UVs. If you don’t need very sophisticated UV unwrapping, you can always just use one of Zbrush’s easy one-button Tile mapping options. Otherwise, there’s UV master.
