Question on "ReplayLast" function.

I recently started learning Zbrush.

In one of the tutorial videos, I learned that you could move multiple subtools in space by the same distance by using “ReplayLast” function (shortcut - 1).

When I tried it however the function would often not work. It would rotate the document or do nothing most of the time.
I made sure I did not accidentally sculpt or touch anything in between while switching subtools, but still no good.

I am using Zbrush 2018 and use Gizmo to move and rotate, while in tutorial video it’s older version.

Do you have a link to the tutorial? The Replay Last button re-traces the last brush stroke (from mouse/pen click to release). As a result I’m not sure if it’s really compatible with the gizmo (if the gizmo moves, then the replayed stroke is no longer clicking and dragging on the same control).

You might get more predictable results to use the Deformers to offset the model, which will let you use the “Repeat to Active” button instead (this button is distinct from how Replay Last works).
