Question involving Edit Topology Preview.

I am following Isaac Oster’s face mask tutorial on Pluralsite and I’m a bit hung up on how he is previewing a polymesh from his hand-drawn topology. When I preview it, I am only seeing a Dynamesh version and not a polymesh. I also can not convert mine into a poly mesh from the tools panel. Although I do see a poly mesh preview when “edit topology is NOT active”

I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense, I don’t really see this modeling approach being shown by anyone else.Capture.PNGCapture2.PNGCapture3.PNG

Move the “DynaMesh Resolution” slider in the ‘Adaptive Skin’ subpalette to 0. If you want, you can also turn down ‘Density’ slider too to preview it exactly as your re-topo. If “Make PolMesh3D” is greyed out, which will happen if you turn “Edit Topology” on and off, go to “Adaptive Skin” subpalette and click “Make Adaptive Skin”. That will put a new tool of your re-topo in the Tool palette with the prefix “Skin_”.

Thank you! That worked.
