zerobugetgamemaker, had problems figuring this out at first myself.go to suface editor>basic>color>t>image> load image, i dont know
all the formats supported yet,but tga. which can be produced in photoshop works great.if when you enter surface editor the basic dosent popup hit use texture at bottom of pallett.

Thanks Gary,
Do you know of any way to apply different textures to different polygons?

glad to be some help and yes, select polys to be textured(polygon selection mode)go to polygon>surface and name it,deselect and select next poly(s) repeat, surface name ect.
open surface editor where you will find
these named surfaces click on each and assign
them textures as described in my first reply.
planer cylidrical ect. are also available.i did a google search for lightwave tuts, plugins and scripts to learn what little i know, many out there.

alright! I think I get it, Thank you so ,much, I’ve been looking at the tutorials at NewTech’s website, but they havent been making sense to me.
