I’m working on a mod for a game called Spore (http://www.spore.com) and a lot of the models I make for it are made with ZbrushCore (full single user license) and then edited in Blender. With the exception of a few basic shapes like a perfect cube and a sphere, the models I’ve used have been made by me. However, the multi mesh parts look very useful, especially for the type of mod I’m making (which adds robotic styled parts to Spore). I was wondering, what is the rules/licensing for using these multi mesh parts in my mod unedited? Meaning taken straight from ZBrushCore and not attached to another model. I highly doubt I’d use them all (if I could use them, but I don’t know yet) but there are a few I would really like to use as they are (no edits to them). Can I do this? Keep in mind that my mod comes with a credits page and I will add Pixologic to it if I can use those pieces.
(Also yes, Spore modding is very much allowed and is one of the things that keeps the game alive.)
