Sorry for the double posting. I posted this question yesterday but I can’t find it today, maybe that post got lost, so here it goes : I have 2 projects , both with dozens of subtools which are organized in folders. Is there a way to bring in a folder from one project to another ?
Just for clarity, you have a Tool or Tools with multiple subtools. A Project file is a scene file containing any Tools you have loaded into it. So simply save out the Tool (Tool > save as) you want to import into the other Project file, then open the target Project file( File > Open), and load (Tool > Load) that Tool into the scene.
If you only want a single folder from the tool, then delete all the subtools that aren’t that folder, and save out the tool (under a different file name, obviously).
Of course, now it makes perfect sense. I must admit that even though Z Brush is uniquely awesome I always was a bit confused by the tool import menu ( The top section of the tools palette ).
