Assuming everything is properly installed… In the render panel is External Renderer. Select KeyShot and you’re almost there. Hit BPR render and it should send stuff to and try to render with KeyShot. There are some options to set but that should be covered in the docs.

I think you misunderstood what he is saying.

sir i explain my problem focus on it please im useing zbrush 4r6

Are you done sculpting? Easy then, open with 4R7 and render  Just remember that you can’t open the 4R7 file with 4R6. BTW, which 4R7 were you using?

sir i installed zbrush 4r6 only and keyshot 4

@Jafer Aoda:

Question 1:
If you have the ZBrush version of KeyShot it will ONLY work with 4R7, which you said is crashing when you use the 64 bit version, try the 32 bit version.
Also the Bridge only works in 4R7.

If you have the normal version of KeyShot you can open all sorts of other 3D object file types.
ZBrush 4R6 and 4R7 (32 or 64) will export very very nice .OBJ files complete with textures and all that.

Since you apparently have the bridge you most likely have (and this is a guess) the ZBrush version of KeyShot. That means you will have to use 4R7, like it or not.
Try the 32 bit version of 4R7, if you can work on something in 4R6, which is 32 bit, you can work on it in 4R7 32… presumably anyway!

Question 2:
KeyShot can do both texture maps and PolyPaint. You can actually use both at the same time if you want.

Again, the bridge only works with 4R7… this is important.

again i have zbrush 4R6 and keyshot 4 oooonly…

what solve to Q2??

Note :* I Use ZBrush 4R6**not* 4R7 because Crashed in sculpting )) Windows 7* 64 bit

Hmm, appears you did have it. There is a solution right there…

pleeeeeeease help meeeeee

If you have KeyShot and 4R6 than you will need to import your object into KeyShot from ZBrush as .OBJ files.

To turn PolyPaint into a texture file you need to have UV Maps on your object.
There are two places where you can do this:

  • In the UV Map Palette under Tools (its down near the bottom).
  • And UV Master in the ZPlugin Menu.

Once you have UV set up, go into the Texture Map palette and under Create hit New From Poly Paint.

I find that in order for this stuff to export the way I want it to I have to use the Clone Txtr button and export the textures from the Texture palette on the left hand side f the ZBrush window.

From there you would hit Export in the Tool Palette and save it as a .OBJ file.

Once you have done all that you need to go into KeyShot and import it, however this will FAIL if you have the ZBrush version of Keyshot.

wooow thannnnnks dear thats i want but i happend problem is :

some tools i cant made texture in new from polypaint? why?

and if i import the tool into keyshot how i import saim size?

thanks alot dear i desturp you…

some tools i cant made texture in new from polypaint? why?
Ensure the tools have UVs, these are needed to bake the polypaint to a texture. Either UV unwrap in zbrush or export the lower subdivision to another application to unwrap

sir can you learn me by video plz

thanks for your time.

thanks sir i thank you sooooooo much

but i ask you if i have tool but when go to texture to select. new from polypaint… its not active what solv

You need UV maps.
UV maps define how a texture will wrap around an object, like the different projections people who make maps use.
Watch the videos Richard gave you a link to.

Or do this:

  1. Set your PolyPainted object to its lowest Subdivision.
  2. In the UV Map Palette under Create hit PUVTiles or GUVTiles (these are easy, and provide good coverage).
  3. Set your object to its highest Subdivision.
  4. In the Texture Map Pallette under Create you should see that New From PolyPaint is now active, click it once to generate your texture.
  5. Again in the Texture Map Palette hit the Clone Txtr button.
  6. Export your object.
  7. In the Texture Palette on the LEFT export your texture.
  8. Now import all that into KeyShot.

Bare in mind here I have KeyShot for ZBrush which is severely limited so I can’t help you much from this point on.

thanks sir im very glade about help mee thaaanks sir. i applied this step tomorrow…
