That is the book! the one I have before was about photoshop 5 but it will do the tricks just fine, never mind about the book title, to use photoshop effectively is to understand the analysis and notion behind.

Try to compare all computer generated images and u will find that they share similar shadow depth ( black and grayshaded ).
What do you think is missing? what is the purpose of post processing ? if you know, your work will have the extra punch. It is not talent but the experience. I am not talented by nature in fact I was influenced by a class mate when I was 12. Just a pencil drawing and I was hooked, it is not becaues I like art but rather amazed that what u can do with imagination.
Today, I am multi-skiled, I created my own model mking material and moulding techniques from ordinary hard ware stuff. People asked me where did I learn all these skills while there is no such school in my country.

The answer is, when u put creativity and knowledge together, the result is achievement.
I will try to find some example in my archive to depict this later

I too looked through all your threads, Outstanding work, I echo everything that Kircho said above! Thanks for sharing!
On these compiled images I assume that what you are showing are the seperate layers in PhotoShop? How do you get the hair to look so wonderful?
You rock! I think my nephew once had one of your illustrated childrens books, it was full of lush exotic animals just like these,

I’m tempted to order it because, for me, PhotoShop color correction (and deliberate color manipulation) is a mysterious process. The reviews at Amazon are as complimentary as your own.
