Projection master transparancy ?

** Problem resolved**

Hey guys, I’m still quite new to Zbrush and was following a tutorial when I had to use the Projection master tool.
When I dropped down my mesh I dragged over a nice and colourfull texture over my mesh ( which should have popped out)
but when I dropped the mesh back into 3d it almost blended in completely. I’ve tried changing the focal shift, making new layers, put RGB intensity on 100 % change from Mrgb / Rgb and M tried the jellybeans texture to see if it would work and/or dragging it several times but nothing really stays the way it’s being shown when it’s in projection master.

Is there a setting I have to change to prevent it from blending in this badly ? I’m trying to make a nice stone with some nice bits popping out but it’s really not noticeable at all.

thanks in advanced.

Are you working with polypaint or a texture map?

I’m not entirely sure ,

What I’ve been doing is:

sculpt , go to texture map apply it to the material > polypaint ( enable colorize) texture to polypaint. After that I drop the mesh into projection master and drag a ( doesn’t matter which one) texture over the mesh to give it some variation. the candy one is a default one but has some nice and bright values so it was easiest to show what I meant.

I’ve tried this several times now ( new meshes, different textures and such) but they keep fading out / becoming transparant very heavily. When you drop something trough projection master it asks you if you want to " fade , double side, color, material shaded etc) been playing around with these options too but they don’t seem to resolve the issue here.

I found the solution. In the Tool > surface tab I still had to apply/cancel a noise modifier.
it’s working fine now.

Ah, that explains it. Glad you got it sorted.
