project all as slice curve...possible???

hi! guys…

I want to slice purple ‘polygon’ with shape of pink ‘plane’.

I tried project all option and then mergedown in 1 subtool. (pic2)

It turned out just two planes overlapping with no intersection at all.

I’m having a few troubles shaping organic shape in Zmodeler such as headlamp of car.

So I’m lookin for alternative way to make it easier/better with slicing tool.

Anyway, how do I project all option as a ‘slicer’?

is it possible in Zbrush??

Masking shape and push/pull didn’t actually go well so far.

(imao it’s not accurate and sharp enough… bcuz of my poor skill of course)

One quick way is to try using the Matchmaker brush to get the purple part shaped and sitting precisely on the main mesh.

I heard about matchmaker brush but haven’t tried it yet…

I thought it’s used when seating one piece to another.

I need pink’s out line on purple’s surface and they hav to be one piece! so I can split them
