Problems with Texture Mapping from Poly Paint

Hey guys, this is my first time using ZBrush ever so sorry if I don’t explain thoroughly enough.

I’ve been working on a sculpt and got to the point where I poly painted textures onto it. Since Blender and other 3D programs like being an asses, I have to get the UV map in order to import it onto other programs and render them.

I followed a couple of Youtube tutorials by first UV Unwrapping in the UV Master utility on a clone of my tool (the original is subdivided). Then I hit the “Copy UVs” button, moved over to the original tool and pasted the UV. In the UV Map palette, I left the UV Map Size to 2048.
Then, I went under the Texture palette and hit the “New From Polypaint” option. After waiting a while, instead of mapping the polypaint textures onto the UV Map, it just maps it onto a square it this gross pink color. I assume this means I probably copy or pasted the UV Map wrong but I’m not certain how.

I’ve attached images below. First is the UV Map, second is the original tool, third is what it looks like after I’ve created a texture map from poly paint.

Any ideas on how I can fix this/what I’m doing wrong?
