Hey guys, I worked with this all day yesterday and I really need some help. I sculpted this model with a lowrez polymodel from 3ds max as base. I need to Zremesh it so that I can export it to max and then unwrap it for texture work. The thing is that I can’t get good results with Zremesher. Feel as if I have tried everything… but for some reason, the topology for the back fin always get screwed up. Bad.
First image is of the hirezmodel, and the second is after my Best Zremesh result. Yes, thats the best… as you can see I use curves with 100% to get the topology right, if I use anything other then 100% the polygons get stretched all over the place. I also use polypoint to get more density on the fins. I have tried with and without adaptive, and different adaptive values. Nothing works.
