Problem with brush stroke (tablet)

Hi,

When attempting to make a gracefully line my strokes will occasionally leave a big dot right at the end (see attached). This happens maybe 1 out of 10 times.

The top stroke is the problem and the dot occurs just as the pen is leaving the tablet.

Might tend to happen more often when I am drawing quickly

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Andrew

Try increasing your ‘Click Time’ and ‘Click Distance’ in Preferences > Interface.

I’ve seen this with cintiqs in other programs – it’s an issue with the sensitivity settings in the wacom driver. Here’s an interesting link which may help in more ways than one:

Best,
Jason.

I adjusted the “Click Time” under preferences and it “seems” to have helped. The problem was intermittent so I’ll just have to wait and see.

Thanks so much for the help.

Hey “Half Life,”

I wish I was smart enough to make the adjustment to the “Preferences” file as suggested–*alas, I am not. Too bad… I need to adjust these settings… but I am on a Mac and would no doubt screw something up.

I have to agree that the Wacom drivers (and all their products for that matter) are really sub par in many respects. They have such a huge portion of the market but their drivers are really not very useful.

Thanks again for the help.

I agree, wacom drivers could be much better. It seems it’s not something that they concentrate on.
