Daphne is the imprisioned princess appearing at Dragon’s Lair Videogames and TV series.
The videogame was the first Arcade cabinet in using a Laser Disc to display high quality video.
This figurine is more inspired in her apearance in the videogames, since TV series toned down her sex-appeal. Daphne was designed and animated by Don Bluth, who previosly worked as animator at Disney, where he learnt how to draw pinups with this “Tinkerbell” style.
